If you have picked up a pass which is not yet valid, then you are legally required to return the pass to UBC. See the U-Pass Return Form on your SSC under the financial summary tab for details. If you have picked up a pass for the current month, you will not be entitled to a refund for that month and you can use the pass until it expires. But you will not be eligible for a pass for the remainder of the term.
