With Compass, "Stored Value" will offer you flexibility. Adding Stored Value is just like adding cash to your card - but when you pay using Stored Value, you get a discount over standard cash fares, so it's perfect for single-use trips and paying AddFares. You can also use the convenient AutoLoad/Re-Load option (available with registration).
